We’re Back!

Re: Return to practice

Dear patient,

I hope this finds you safe and well.  Like all businesses, it has been necessary for Moveology to close during lockdown but as restrictions start to ease Moveology is preparing to treat patients once again. This letter outlines how we plan to operate over the coming weeks and months.

Our Moveology clinics at Fitness First, St Albans & David Lloyd Swindon have been  closed due to the government closing all gyms as non-essential public places.  From 6th July we are reopening our clinic at Swindon and will be operating out of our co-founder Doug’s home clinic in St Albans while waiting for the Fitness First gym to re open.

In the meantime, using new guidance from NHS England, General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and The CharteredSociety of Physiotherapy we have developed ways to safely treat patients – either remotely or face-to-face

If you are in need of treatment or more information please get in touch: either by texting/calling your Moveology therapist if you have their number or via email [email protected] and we can discuss the best way forward for your personal circumstances.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is paramount. In preparation for the reopening of our clinics and our interim arrangements we have developed a risk assessment and new operating procedures to manage the risk of Covid-19.

If you would like to see a copy of the full risk assessment and operating procedures please do not hesitate to ask. We will continue to follow appropriate advice and will update our documentation when necessary.

We look forward to treating you soon.

If you have any questions, feedback or if you would like further information please contact us via email at [email protected].

Flexibility provides instability.
Weakness needs better body awareness.
Mobility and stability are interrelated - once you have more of one than the other, you become unstable.

Cupping can be part of the overall healing process of an injury or inflammation.
Through cupping, the tissue is stretched in the area of concern. This can help break down scar tissue, helping the healing process. Also helps relax the muscle tissue too. If necessary, we would use this technique combined with others, as part of the overall treatment.
